Natural Resources Commission

The Natural Resources Commission was created by the Board of Trustees in March, 2003, to plan and implement programs for the protection of natural resources within Pittsfield Charter Township. Township Ordinances 252 (PDR for Farmland Protection)and 255 (Wetlands Protection) establish the Commission's composition and responsibilities.

The Commission has seven voting members, each serving 2-year terms. The Township Board appoints the members.

The members of the natural resources commission are:

  • Greg Croasdill, Chairperson
  • Fredrick Flynn, Member-at-Large
  • Alan Israel, Clerk, Board of Trustees Liaison
  • Matthew Payne, Planning Commission Liaison
  • Theresa Tupacz, Park Commission Liaison
  • Charles Zeigler

Natural Resources Commission Meeting Schedule

The Natural Resources Commission typically meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.  Scheduled meetings are posted at the Township Administration Building. All regular meetings will be held in Morris Hall, Pittsfield Township Administration Building, located at 6201 W. Michigan Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48108.
