Platt Road will remain open throughout this work.  However, please be advised that temporary delays and intermittent lane closures may occur due to construction activity.   Traffic control signs and barrels are in place to aid motorists through this intersection.

9-28-2010 Update
The Preliminary Engineering plans for the Lohr Road Greenway were developed during the months of May, June, July and August, staff and administration met with residents and Homeowner Associations immediately adjacent to the proposed Lohr-Textile Greenway.

As a result of these meetings with residents, at community forums and on-site personal visits, the preliminary plans have been revised to address most, if not all, resident concerns. Specific resident feedback (e.g., additional pedestrian crossings and signalization) have been folded into the revised plans as well.

It has been a pleasure to work with our residents in a respectful and open manner to arrive at a plan that will further enhance Pittsfield Township’s quality of life by providing a transportation network that meets a diversity of needs instead of a transportation system that focuses primarily on addressing mobility needs through road lane additions/expansions.

We look forward to working, in partnership with you, on continuing to retain and improve the quality of life for all Pittsfield Township residents.
